The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ikeman scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Ikeman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Carter on the side of the head.
Carter dives in for a single leg takedown but Ikeman sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Ikeman wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carter wants to get back to striking at distance but Ikeman won't allow it.
Ikeman misses with a punch on the inside.

Ikeman breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ikeman just misses with a punch to the body.
Carter is looking to counter the offense by Ikeman and move into the clinch.
Logan Ikeman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carter moves in looking to clinch but Ikeman pushes him off.

Carter shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
