Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michel Blanc (ranked 3634 p4p, 4592 weight class) and Louis Gabriel Suchet (ranked 523 p4p, 595 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Michel Blanc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Louis Gabriel Suchet!
The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick lands for Blanc.
Blanc connects with an inside leg kick.
Suchet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Blanc counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Suchet takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Suchet takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Suchet darts in looking for a takedown but Blanc gets double underhooks and turns Suchet into the cage.
Suchet takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Suchet gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Blanc counters with a nice low kick that buckles Suchet's knee momentarily.
Michel Blanc has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Louis Gabriel Suchet.
Suchet doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Blanc counters with a left to the body.
Blanc throws a nice outside leg kick.
Blanc scores with a hook to the body. Suchet takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Suchet shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blanc manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Blanc is pushing Suchet's head away, looking to escape. Suchet manages to hold on to the position though.

Suchet is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blanc knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blanc pushes Suchet away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Suchet gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Suchet is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blanc is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Blanc looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Blanc takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Blanc wants to get back to his feet.
Blanc tries to buck Suchet off but Suchet is having none of it.
Suchet tries to move to mount but Blanc blocks the move with his legs.

Suchet looks up at the clock and then as Blanc takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Suchet smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Suchet wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Blanc, who protects the arm well.

A close round but Louis Gabriel Suchet will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Blanc lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Suchet at a distance.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Blanc enables Suchet to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blanc manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Suchet accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Blanc on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Blanc tries to get out of the position.

Louis Gabriel Suchet has got the better of the ground game so far.

Suchet looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Blanc managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Suchet.
Suchet wants to control but Blanc is keeping him busy.
Blanc takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Blanc knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Suchet on the ground.
Blanc is letting Suchet control him for a moment.

Suchet working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Suchet laying and praying for a moment but Blanc takes advantage and regains half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Suchet connects with a nice short shot to Blanc's temple.

Blanc has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Suchet is working away from the top position though.

Suchet has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Suchet postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Blanc out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Suchet goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
