Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Logan Ikeman (ranked 5552 p4p, 5360 weight class) and Darius Ellis (ranked 557 p4p, 544 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ellis slips a jab and a cross from Ikeman.
Ellis is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
No joy there for Ikeman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ikeman jabs at Ellis's body.
Ellis shoots in but no luck this time.
Ellis shoots in for a takedown but Ikeman shows good takedown defense.
A little feinted left hand from Ikeman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Nice uppercut there from Ikeman.
Ikeman lands with a nice body punch.
Ellis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ikeman circles away.
Logan Ikeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Darius Ellis.
Ellis bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ikeman lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Ikeman looks to land a left hand but Ellis moved out of range nicely.

Ikeman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Ellis on the side of the head.
Ellis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ikeman's waist but Ikeman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ellis off to one side.
Ellis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looks like Ikeman has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
