Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Frazier (ranked 3705 p4p, 4074 weight class) and Mike Mayhew (ranked 432 p4p, 458 weight class). Mike Mayhew will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frazier shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Mayhew looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Mayhew on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Mayhew is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Frazier scores with a couple of nice shots.
Frazier is taking a breather. Mayhew says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mayhew can do anything to dispel that myth.
Frazier looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frazier is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Frazier seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mayhew for as long as he can get away with.
Frazier takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Frazier works his foot free and advances to mount.

Frazier is landing with some decent strikes but Mayhew is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Frazier with shots to the head and body - Mayhew looks very uncomfortable down there.
Mayhew takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
