Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anti Happy (ranked 974 p4p, 2964 weight class) and J Gay G (ranked 93 p4p, 250 weight class). Happy's entrance music is Bvana iz lagune & Mikri Maus - AntiHepi. A fine choice. Gay G has chosen Down as his entrance music. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G digs a good hook to Happy's body.
Nice body punch from Gay G.
Gay G does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Gay G shoots in looking for a takedown but Happy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Gay G's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gay G tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Happy was well out of range. Poor timing from Gay G.
Happy attempts a counter takedown but Gay G avoids it well and moves away.
Gay G takes a swing at Happy's ribcage but misses.
Happy changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Happy misses with a takedown attempt - Gay G sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Gay G doesn't manage to clinch there - Happy circles away.

Happy takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Happy scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

J Gay G seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gay G lands a nice shot that snaps Happy's head back.

Gay G shoots in but Happy avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Happy looks to land a combination but Gay G avoids it well.

Happy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gay G sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Happy has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Gay G is not content to let Happy control the position.

Happy tries to pass to full mount but Gay G defends it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A big strike lands for Happy! That's really hurt Gay G and he's turned his back - Happy keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Happy jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
