Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matto Hyrra (ranked 2633 p4p, 1594 weight class) and Rock Lee (ranked 321 p4p, 213 weight class). Hyrra comes to the cage accompanied by Etta - Perus . Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Matto Hyrra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rock Lee!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee is looking to slow Hyrra down with leg kicks.
Hyrra is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lee.

It looks like Matto Hyrra has been cut.

Lee swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hyrra.
Hyrra throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lee's waist but Lee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hyrra off to one side.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hyrra accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Lee has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hyrra is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lee.

Hyrra throws a hook but Lee blocks it.
Lee lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hyrra closes the distance and clinches up with Lee, looking for a takedown. Hyrra pushes Lee against the cage but Lee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lee changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lee jabs Hyrra right on the nose. Hyrra blinks but takes it well.
Lee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hyrra shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the cage. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Hyrra throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lee was covering up waiting for the punch and Hyrra finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Lee manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hyrra drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Let's hope that Lee has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hyrra attempts a counter takedown but Lee avoids it well and moves away.

Lee stalks Hyrra and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hyrra's face. Hyrra staggers backwards, shaken.
Hyrra tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lee manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hyrra takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Lee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
