The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Araujo scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Yelisey tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Araujo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Araujo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Araujo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Yelisey prevents Araujo from moving into mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yelisey can do anything to dispel that myth.

Araujo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Yelisey looks calm but he's in trouble here. Araujo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Yelisey is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Araujo lets go of the hold and Yelisey can pop his arm back in it's socket.
