Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Duke Nukem (ranked 936 p4p, 4555 weight class) and John Vermicelli (ranked 125 p4p, 502 weight class). Vermicelli has chosen Gonna Fly Now as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nukem slips under a jab.

Vermicelli throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Vermicelli shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Vermicelli has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Nukem finds it's way round the side to connect with Vermicelli 's head.

Nukem closes the distance and pushes Vermicelli back into the cage.

Nukem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

A nice left hand lands by Nukem.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Nukem.
Nukem lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Vermicelli backwards.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nukem lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Vermicelli to his knees! Nukem keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
