Carlos Silva has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Carlos Silva has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Dampfhammer is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Carlos Silva.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This one could be over very soon! Dampfhammer goes limp - he's gone! Carlos Silva jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
