Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tanner Wyatt (ranked 5196 p4p, 24719 weight class) and Julian Hopson (ranked 354 p4p, 389 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tanner Wyatt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julian Hopson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopson keeps the fight on the outside.
Wyatt tries to clinch but Hopson is having none of it.

Hopson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wyatt is trying to defend but Hopson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hopson in particular looking to stall.

It looks like Hopson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Wyatt is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hopson pulls his head out easily.

Let's hope that Hopson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well Hopson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
