Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rulla Kebab (ranked 624 p4p, 790 weight class) and Tino Takala (ranked 99 p4p, 123 weight class). Tino Takala is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rulla Kebab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 9 - 2, fighting out of Helsinki, Tino Takala!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Takala.

It looks like Rulla Kebab has been cut.
Takala with a nice calf kick.
Tino Takala seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kebab throws an overhand right that lands on Takala's shoulder, as Takala tries to avoid the shot.

Kebab was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Kebab displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Takala throws out the jab.

Kebab connects with a good right hand that stumbles Takala. Takala circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Takala ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Takala lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Takala ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kebab moves away.

Kebab on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Takala has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Takala throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And Kebab counters with a quick kick to the body but Takala blocks it.
Takala's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Takala duly obliges.

A low kick lands for Takala.
Kebab checks a leg kick nicely.
Kebab is looking for a counter combo.
Takala throws a nice looking combination but Kebab bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Takala chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kebab can pounce on him.

Takala feints and then cracks Kebab's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kebab down.

Takala throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tino Takala is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Takala has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kebab finds it's way round the side to connect with Takala's head.

Takala pivots, looking for a leg kick but Kebab is out of range and Takala settles back down.

We've been told by Kebab's head coaches at Jorzi GYM that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Takala. Kebab shrugs it off though.
Kebab is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Takala throws a leg kick but Kebab sees it coming and moves out of range.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Kebab might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

and Kebab counters with a crisp right hand that drops Takala! Kebab lets Takala back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Takala throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Takala seems to have recovered his senses.

Takala swings and misses with a shot to the body

and Kebab counters with a nice right hand that sends Takala toppling to the canvas! Takala scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Kebab finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takala stuns Kebab with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Takala buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Kebab moves out of range as Takala throws a body kick.
Takala lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Kebab backs up against the cage.
Kebab moves out of range as Takala strikes.
Kebab is looking to counter with a shot to the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tino Takala comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Takala has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
