Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Barnes (ranked 1699 p4p, 1114 weight class) and Showtime Sitsongrit (ranked 224 p4p, 148 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Sitsongrit's choice of entrance music: ศึกษานารี - LABANOON. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitsongrit wants to clinch up but Barnes keeps it at a distance.

Sitsongrit is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sitsongrit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barnes swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Barnes is looking to stand up but Sitsongrit isn't so interested in that idea.

Sitsongrit has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Barnes's face.

Sitsongrit is trying to trip Barnes. He has hold of a leg but Barnes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sitsongrit persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Sitsongrit slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Barnes is on top in guard.

Sitsongrit is taking a breather. Barnes says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Showtime Sitsongrit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Sitsongrit tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barnes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
It looked like Barnes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Sitsongrit.
