The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miocic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Bigwood lands with a hook. Miocic tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Bigwood misses with a jab, cross combination.
Miocic doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Bigwood counters with a right hand to the body.
Miocic dives in and grabs Bigwood's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bigwood pushes down on Miocic's head and hops out.
Tony Bigwood has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Miocic.
Bigwood scores with a punch to the head.
Miocic shoots in for a takedown but Bigwood shows good takedown defense.
Bigwood scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bigwood. Miocic does a little dance to reset his feet.

It looks like Jon Miocic has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bigwood throws a big elbow that misses.
Miocic is still in real trouble! Can Bigwood finish him?
Bigwood gets to his feet and stands over Miocic, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Miocic felt that one! Bigwood unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Miocic from any more punishment!
