Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Freddie McGee (ranked 3235 p4p, 4705 weight class) and Ignacio Loyola (ranked 404 p4p, 524 weight class). McGee's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, bat outta hell song. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Freddie McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ignacio Loyola!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Loyola fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGee manages to avoid it.
McGee appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Loyola should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
McGee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
McGee moves out of range as Loyola strikes.
Loyola smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Loyola fails in his attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loyola's jab looks to have found its range, popping McGee under the eye.

and McGee counters with a nice double leg into side control. Loyola won't be happy with that.

Loyola bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
Loyola ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGee moves away.
Loyola has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McGee is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Loyola looks to land a right hand but McGee moved out of range.
McGee half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Loyola misses with an uppercut.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Loyola, as that shot connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Loyola ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McGee moves away.
Ignacio Loyola seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Loyola tries to clinch there but McGee circles away.
McGee feinted with a counter takedown.
A telegraphed right hand from Loyola misses the target.
Loyola throws a right hand that McGee ducks under and follows up with a left that McGee also avoids with ease.

McGee drops down looking for a counter takedown but Loyola sprawls and moves away.

Loyola throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGee feinted with a counter takedown.
McGee slips a jab from Loyola.
Loyola misses the shot to the body.

McGee ducks under a wild hook from Loyola.
Loyola tests McGee's chin there with a solid looking shot.
The fight stays on the outside here - Loyola looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Loyola sizes up McGee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Loyola has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Loyola wants to control but McGee is keeping busy.
Loyola wants to improve his position but McGee is controlling well.

McGee scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
McGee seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Loyola is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but McGee pulls his head out easily.
McGee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Loyola trying to control but McGee postures up.
Loyola is doing well to control the position and prevent McGee from advancing to side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGee is nestled in close to Loyola, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Loyola works his way to full guard. Good work.
McGee wants to pass the guard but Loyola is keeping the position.
Loyola keeping moving, preventing McGee from controlling successfully.

Loyola is rocked!

McGee content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Loyola is still in real trouble! Can McGee finish him?
McGee loads up on a big left hand. Loyola felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McGee looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Loyola can't hide his disappointment, as McGee celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Freddie McGee!
A very excited looking Freddie McGee made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
