The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Loyola fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McGee manages to avoid it.
McGee appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

McGee takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

McGee looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McGee is nestled in close to Loyola, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - McGee looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Loyola can't hide his disappointment, as McGee celebrates the victory.
