Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Black (ranked 3390 p4p, 5155 weight class) and Kristian Baunegaard (ranked 405 p4p, 525 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Anthony Black has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Anthony Black seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Baunegaard to the ground. Black is now in Baunegaard's guard.

Baunegaard has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Black has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Baunegaard tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Black just stands there and leans against the cage.
Black wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
A frustrated look appears on Black's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Baunegaard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Baunegaard moves out of range as Black throws a body kick.

Black drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baunegaard seems a little lost for a moment, as Black dominates the positioning.

Baunegaard moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off.
Black wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Black closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Black lands in his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baunegaard manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Black manages to get himself to full guard.

Baunegaard decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Black, up you get!
Anthony Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Black lands a leg kick that knocks Baunegaard off balance momentarily.

Black shoots in for a double leg but Baunegaard sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Black is breathing heavily.
Baunegaard pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Black back to the cage. Baunegaard follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Anthony Black has been cut.

Kristian Baunegaard is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Black throws a right hand that Baunegaard ducks under and follows up with a left that Baunegaard also avoids with ease.
Black misses the jab.
Baunegaard tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Black manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Black buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Baunegaard clinches up with Black and pushes him back against the cage.

Baunegaard's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Black shoots in for a takedown but Baunegaard shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Baunegaard moves into the clinch.

Baunegaard escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baunegaard lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Black throws a low kick but it's checked well by Baunegaard.

Baunegaard tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Black paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baunegaard plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Black swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Black face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
