Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Cozad (ranked 1612 p4p, 1849 weight class) and Kova Luu (ranked 89 p4p, 77 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cozad has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Luu.
Luu chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Luu is looking to clinch.
Luu throws a nice outside leg kick.
Luu connects with an inside leg kick.
Cozad thows a left - swing and a miss!
A solid leg kick lands there for Luu.
Cozad throws a series of punches but Luu moves out of range.
Cozad blocks a head kick by Luu.
A little feinted left hand from Cozad on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Cozad misses the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cozad throws a series of punches but Luu avoids them all with ease.

Luu throws a quick inside leg kick.

Cozad lands a left and a right that send Luu crashing to the mat, dazed. Cozad thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Kova Luu has been cut.
A solid body kick from Luu.
Luu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Luu tries to grapple but his opponent circles
enabling Cozad to counter with a crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Luu tries to clinch up but Cozad circles away and keeps his distance.

Luu throws a sloppy head kick and Cozad moves out of range easily.
Luu throws a body kick, spinning off balance

and Cozad counters with a crisp right hand that drops Luu! Cozad lets Luu back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Luu is rocked!

Cozad fakes the body blow, causing Luu to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Luu goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
