The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Koskela there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A punch combination from Koskela misses.
Svensson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Koskela lands a head kick that stumbles Svensson and the fighters go to the mat.

It looks like Sven Svensson has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Svensson seems to have got his legs back now.
Svensson has a closed guard, preventing Koskela from standing up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Koskela really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Svensson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
