The crowd seem to be enjoying Kha's choice of entrance music: Eye of the tiger. Un Kha has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharples scores with a one two! Kha had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Kha fails with a takedown attempt.

Sharples shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kha napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kha throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Sharples tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sharples has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Kha is trying to escape the position but Sharples is controlling the position.
Kha takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Kha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sharples. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
