Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brandon Rose (ranked 1610 p4p, 1723 weight class) and Henry Chinaski (ranked 150 p4p, 162 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose lands a really nice looking cross but Chinaski seems unphased.
Chinaski's coach down at PhoQus Island Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Chinaski's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Rose clinches up with Chinaski and pushes him back against the cage.

Rose drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rose has Chinaski pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rose pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chinaski tumbling to the mat - Rose dives into Chinaski's guard.

Rose drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rose jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rose is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chinaski is just riding it out for now. Rose eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rose quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Rose but it's paid off an Chinaski is forced to tap! Nice work by Rose.
