The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peziev drives through with a takedown into guard.
Peziev scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Mizoguchi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Peziev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peziev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Mizoguchi is looking to stand back up but Peziev counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mizoguchi.
Peziev is thwarting Mizoguchi's attempts to control the position.
Peziev is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Peziev lands with a punch from half guard.
Mizoguchi won't allow Peziev to pass to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Peziev has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mizoguchi defend it? Peziev steps over the head and cranks it - Mizoguchi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Peziev!

Rafa Peziev decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
Candice Mizoguchi spoke after the fight, saying 'Mission Failed, We'll get em next time.'.
