Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bing Bang (ranked 1493 p4p, 1585 weight class) and Abasi Njagi (ranked 109 p4p, 115 weight class). Njagi is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Game - Name Me King (Feat. Pusha T). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bing Bang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Abasi Njagi!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang moves in looking to clinch but Njagi pushes him off.
Bing Bang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Njagi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bang is fending him off so far but Njagi persists. Nope, Bang circles away and we're back to standing.
Bang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bang is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Njagi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

A looping hook to the body misses from Bang. Njagi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bang lets loose with a powerful body kick. Njagi will feel that in the morning.
Njagi looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Njagi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bang does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bang is taking a breather. Njagi says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Bang moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Njagi.

Njagi is trying to strike from the bottom but Bang has passed into full mount.

Njagi is wriggling around trying to escape.
Bang trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Njagi takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

That was a close round but I would say that Bing Bang will probably get the nod.

Bang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Njagi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Njagi shoots in looking for a takedown. Bang tries to sprawl out of it but Njagi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Njagi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bang sprawls well. Bang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Njagi gets slowly back to his feet.
Bang buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Njagi tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Bang tries to clinch up.
Njagi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bang lands with a hook. Njagi tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Njagi closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Bang quickly recovers to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Njagi wants to work for an arm triangle but Bang is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Njagi postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bang is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Njagi, into his guard.

Njagi escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bang gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bang continues to stall.
Bang is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Njagi can do to turn this around?

Njagi is looking for a triangle but Bang pushes his legs off easily.
Bang slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Njagi tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bang wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Njagi is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bang is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Njagi's shoulder. That is not cool.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Njagi is looking for a sweep.
Bang wants to stand but Njagi has his arm trapped.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Njagi looks for a takedown but Bang sprawls well.
Bang is looking to counter with a body kick.

Bang is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Bang tries to close the distance and clinch but Njagi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Bang appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Njagi's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Bang throws a series of strikes that have Njagi backpedaling.
Bang's jab looks to have found its range, popping Njagi under the eye.
Bang connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Njagi darts in looking for a takedown but Bang gets double underhooks and turns Njagi into the cage.

Bang scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Njagi doesn't seem bothered though.
Njagi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bang circles away.
Bang was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Bang lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Njagi backs up against the cage.
A jab from Bang finds it's way through Njagi's defenses.

Njagi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bang's guard.
Njagi won't allow Bang to sweep him here.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bang, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
