Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Mir (ranked 2158 p4p, 2369 weight class) and Paul Kings (ranked 182 p4p, 195 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Frankie Mir!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Kings!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kings bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mir's guard.

Kings drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kings jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kings has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mir can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
