McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Simple Man - Lynyrd Skynyrd. Sampson has chosen Sunshine (ft. Anthony Hamilton) - Twista as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire misses with a body kick.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McGuire, as that shot connected.
McGuire scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sampson in his tracks.
Bryer McGuire seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sampson tries to close the distance and clinch but McGuire swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGuire misses with a shot to the body

and Sampson counters with a crisp one two that drops McGuire! Sampson thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves McGuire to his feet! McGuire is in big trouble!

McGuire is rocked!
Sampson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
McGuire swings away with a leg kick that misses.

McGuire sends Sampson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McGuire is motioning to the referee to let Sampson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
This has been an exciting period of action!

McGuire pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
McGuire misses with a lunging right hand
and Sampson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

McGuire fails in his attempt to clinch.
Sampson only half commits to the counter leg kick.
McGuire closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

McGuire throws a sloppy body shot
and Sampson counters with a big right hand! Oh McGuire is in trouble here! Sampson follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
