Magomedov comes into a darkened arena with his song building. SABINA feat. Timaro - Dagestan kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daugherty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Magomedov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Daugherty content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Magomedov has locked up a guillotine! Magomedov's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Daugherty is holding on here and Magomedov must be using up a lot of energy. Daugherty has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Magomedov gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

After winning the bout, Khalid Magomedov thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
