The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gerber throws a sloppy head kick and Andonian moves out of range easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Gerber.
Nice defenses there by Andonian.
Andonian looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

letting Gerber counter with a right hand.
Andonian looks to land a right hand but Gerber moved out of range.
Gerber follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Andonian tries to bum rush Gerber with a series of wild strikes but Gerber uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Andonian pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gerber back to the cage. Andonian follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Andonian went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Gerber defending well as Andonian loads up on a big left hand.
Andonian thows a left - swing and a miss!
Whack! Gerber lands a heavy head kick that drops Andonian. The ref tackles Gerber to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Andonian was done.
