Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karl Karjalainen (ranked 1041 p4p, 1247 weight class) and ZaDarius Haden (ranked 164 p4p, 200 weight class). Haden has chosen Mot�rhead - Orgasmatron as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. ZaDarius Haden struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 207.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. ZaDarius Haden has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, ZaDarius Haden!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haden lands with a shot to the body.
Karjalainen connects with a looping right hand.
Karjalainen thuds his shin into the meat of Haden's side.
Karjalainen jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Haden misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Karjalainen.
Karjalainen throwing a counter right hand but Haden manages to avoid it.

Haden has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Haden lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The fighters circling - Karjalainen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The fighters circle momentarily. Haden darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Karl Karjalainen has been cut.
Haden ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Karjalainen moves away.
Karjalainen moves out of range of the strikes.
Haden has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Karjalainen.
Karjalainen fakes the leg kick and cracks Haden in the body.
Karjalainen looks to land a body kick but Haden moved away.

Haden stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Karjalainen lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Karjalainen throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like ZaDarius Haden has been cut.
Karjalainen lands with a hook. Haden tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Haden throws a right and a left that both miss.
Haden just misses with a punch to the body.
Karjalainen uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Haden.
Karjalainen does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Haden blocks the body kick.
Karjalainen lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Haden darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Karjalainen connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Haden looks winded!
Haden fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Karjalainen throws a leg kick which misses Haden's front leg but catches the back leg as Haden tries to avoid it.
Haden misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Karjalainen.
Karjalainen appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Karjalainen fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Karjalainen scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
A solid leg kick lands there for Karjalainen.
Haden misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Karjalainen.
Haden walks into a left hand.
Karjalainen cracks Haden with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Karjalainen has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Haden to stand back up!
Haden is rocked!
Karjalainen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Haden is still on wobbly legs! Can Karjalainen finish him?
Karjalainen drops Haden with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Haden looks back up at him and smiles so Karjalainen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Karjalainen throws a nice outside leg kick.
Haden sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Karjalainen looks to land a body kick but Haden moved away.
Haden seems to have recovered his senses.
Haden moves out of range of the body kick from Karjalainen.
Haden is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Karjalainen bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Haden's head.
Haden tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Haden has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
A slapping leg kick lands for Karjalainen.
Karjalainen is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Karjalainen drops Haden with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Haden looks back up at him and smiles so Karjalainen waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Karl Karjalainen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Karjalainen weaves into range and cracks Haden right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Haden goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Karjalainen is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Karl Karjalainen!
Karl Karjalainen tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
