Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Pappalardi (ranked 370 p4p, 820 weight class) and Ante Petric (ranked 54 p4p, 100 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ante Petric!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Petric fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Pappalardi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Petric paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A nice side step and Petric releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Petric scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Pappalardi doesn't seem bothered though.
Petric scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Pappalardi is breathing heavily.
Petric lands a big right hand that sends Pappalardi crashing to the mat! Petric stays standing though and waves Pappalardi back to his feet!
It looks like Felix Pappalardi has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Petric is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Pappalardi rather than just go for the knockout.

Felix Pappalardi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pappalardi takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Petric jabs Pappalardi to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Petric changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Petric scores with a hook to the body. Pappalardi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Petric drops Pappalardi with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Pappalardi! Petric dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
