Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between tuie poal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, tuie poal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Ross!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
poal tries to close the distance and clinch but Ross swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Ross shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
poal is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ross is controlling him.
poal looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Ross puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Ross is thwarting poal's attempts to control the position.
Ross sitting and controlling from the half guard.
poal wants to get back to full guard but Ross has passed into side control.
Ross landing punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
poal flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
poal is looking to improve his position but Ross isn't that keen on the idea.
poal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Ross working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Ross controlling from the full mount.
poal is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Ross goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now poal is on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ross looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but poal puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
poal wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ross keeps working.
poal not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Ross wants to improve his position but poal is controlling well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
poal is looking to stall here but Ross recovers full guard.
Ross keeping moving, preventing poal from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross keeping full guard, as poal tries to pass.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
poal tries to clinch there but Ross circles away.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ross staying out of range there.
poal lands with a shot to the body.
Ross looks gassed!
poal misses with a wild combination.
poal tries to work over Ross's front leg with a kick but Ross checks it.
The fight stays on the outside here - poal looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ross on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
poal pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ross is out of range and poal settles back down.
A slapping body kick lands there for poal.
poal feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ross's calf.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Jack Ross will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



poal closes the distance and pushes Ross back into the cage.

Ross lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ross working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on poal's thigh. poal counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Ross must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

poal wriggles free and stands up.
poal doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Ross counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
poal with a poor takedown

and Ross holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The referee calls for poal to work.

poal manages to break the clinch.
poal shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Ross counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for tuie poal. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Ross prevents poal from improving his position.
Well, if Ross is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
poal makes his way to full guard. A much better position for poal.
poal trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
poal is pulling down on Ross's head. It's preventing any offense from Ross, at least for the moment.
poal is trying to control the position from the bottom.

poal working for a triangle but Ross defends it easily.
poal keeping moving, preventing Ross from controlling successfully.

poal wriggles free and stands up.
poal fails with an attempt to clinch.
Some wild striking there from Ross.
poal misses with a combination

and Ross counters with a takedown into side control.
poal tries to buck Ross off but Ross is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
poal wants to get back to his feet but Ross drags him back down.

Ross thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
poal is trying to control Ross's posture but Ross avoids it.
poal gets back to half guard.
poal moves into full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jack Ross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


poal throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
poal fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
poal moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

poal gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
poal has control of Ross's left arm, preventing Ross from doing any damage.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
poal trying to control the position.
Jack Ross has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ross controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

poal keeping full guard, as Ross tries to pass.
Ross postures up.

poal looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ross passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Nice strikes from Ross there.
Ross trying to pass the guard but poal defending well.
poal makes his way to full guard. A much better position for poal.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

poal has his feet on Ross's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
A solid body kick from poal.
poal fails with the takedown

and Ross counters with a takedown into side control.
Ross wants to lay and pray for a moment but poal keeps working.
poal tries to contro but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
poal is wriggling around trying to escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
poal tries to lock up and control but Ross gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Ross jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but poal manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Ross lands a few punches from side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Ross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Ross winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
