Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pope Cozad (ranked 3853 p4p, 3699 weight class) and Austin Weaver (ranked 461 p4p, 451 weight class). Cozad kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Spirit In The Sky- Norman Greenbaum. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Weaver. That snapped Cozad's head back.
Weaver pivots, looking for a leg kick but Cozad is out of range and Weaver settles back down.
Cozad shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Weaver as he jumps to the side.
Cozad looks for a takedown but Weaver sprawls well.

Cozad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Weaver.

and Cozad decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Weaver's guard.

The referee asks Cozad politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cozad prefers to stall for the moment though.

Weaver is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cozad pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cozad passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Weaver!

Weaver has left one of his arms exposed and Cozad doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Weaver screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
