Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Creed (ranked 2181 p4p, 1484 weight class) and Jimmy Clubber (ranked 251 p4p, 172 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed moves out of range of the strikes.
A big left from Creed misses.
Clubber misses with the combination.
Clubber has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Creed stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

It looks like Jimmy Clubber has been cut.
Creed looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Clubber swats away the attempt to clinch by Creed .
Creed swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Clubber connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Apollo Creed has been cut.
Clubber looks to land a left hand but Creed moved out of range nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Creed closes the distance looking to clinch
and Clubber finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Clubber pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Creed back to the cage. Clubber follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Clubber tries a knee to the head but Creed blocks it.
Creed prevents Clubber from breaking the clinch.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Clubber throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Creed blocks it with crossed arms.
Creed can't find room to land a body shot as Clubber controls the action.
Clubber tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Creed throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Creed is trying to stall.
Creed lands a nice uppercut.
Creed blocks an uppercut.
Clubber misses with the head strike.

Creed breaks from the clinch.
Clubber takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Creed sends Clubber crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Creed is motioning to the referee to let Clubber up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

That has opened up Jimmy Clubber's cut even more.
Creed throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Creed plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Clubber to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Clubber just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
