The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kido has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Petkovic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Kido has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Petkovic lands a hook that stumbles Kido back into the cage. Petkovic follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Kido to the canvas! Petkovic pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Kido has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
