And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cottoneye Joe!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Steve Smith and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.

Jackson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Joe quickly recovers to half guard.

Joe kicks Jackson off and gets back to his feet.

Joe gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jackson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Jackson postures up and lands a big shot to Joe's brow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
