Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luke Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Kamaka!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamaka avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A jab lands there for Kamaka.
Jackson avoids the body shot from Kamaka.
Jackson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jackson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kamaka. Kamaka circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Kamaka has closed the distance and engaged Jackson in a clinch.
Kamaka tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kamaka scores with a hook to the body.
Kamaka tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Kamaka throws a punch but it's blocked by Jackson.

Jackson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kamaka just misses with a punch to the body.
Kamaka tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson's corner calls for a 1-2. Jackson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kamaka is looking to clinch.
Kamaka throws a right hand that misses
and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
Kamaka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jackson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Kamaka momentarily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson rushes Kamaka with punches - Kamaka moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Kamaka goes down! Jackson follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luke Jackson!
Our winner, Luke Jackson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Joe Kamaka had this to say: 'Thank you to my opponent and all the fans, my coaches and sponsors.'.
