Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zark Muckerberg (ranked 4336 p4p, 25381 weight class) and Leo Vash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Zark Muckerberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Leo Vash!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vash tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Muckerberg was well out of range. Poor timing from Vash.

Vash closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Vash lands in his opponent's guard.

Muckerberg is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Vash defends well.

Muckerberg is looking for a triangle here but Vash uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Vash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muckerberg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Muckerberg stops Vash from passing to mount.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Muckerberg is trying to control Vash's posture but Vash avoids it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Vash has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Muckerberg tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Vash manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Muckerberg is looking to clinch.

Vash fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Muckerberg, pushing him back against the cage.
Vash has Muckerberg pushed against the cage.

Vash turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Vash manages to end up in side control.
Muckerberg avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Vash.
Muckerberg tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Vash wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Muckerberg can't do much from the bottom here.
Muckerberg tries to buck Vash off but Vash is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muckerberg sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Muckerberg is pressing down on Vash's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Vash is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vash must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Vash is posturing up here but Muckerberg has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Vash tries to roll out but it's too tight and Vash has to tap! Slick submission there by Muckerberg!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Zark Muckerberg!
In his post fight interview, Zark Muckerberg gave a big smile as he said 'You humans are weak'.
