White is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by “Tall Cans in the Air” Transplants. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Luke Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bryan White!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Jackson misses its intended target.
White now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
White ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
A looping hook to the body misses from White. Jackson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jackson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
White feints and then cracks Jackson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jackson down.
Luke Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson lands with a shot to the body.
Jackson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Jackson looks to land a right hand but White moved out of range.
Jackson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like Bryan White has been cut.
A cross from Jackson lands.
Jackson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and White counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. White is in Jackson's guard.
Jackson wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Jackson wants to stand up but White is controlling him.
White stands and throws Jackson's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Jackson struggling a bit here.

White is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jackson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Jackson, who protects the arm well.
Jackson is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on White's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
White works his way into side control.
Jackson regains half guard.

White is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jackson sees it coming and defends easily.
Jackson is looking to improve his position.

White is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Jackson wants to improve his position but White is controlling well.
Jackson is concentrating on defense, preventing White from advancing position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
White looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
White works his foot free and advances to mount.
Jackson tries to get back to half guard but can't.

White working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Jackson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by White! Submission of the night perhaps?

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Bryan White!
An out of breath Bryan White thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
