Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pete Warner (ranked 3338 p4p, 3674 weight class) and Randall Dean (ranked 491 p4p, 526 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pete Warner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Randall Dean!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Warner moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Warner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Warner content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dean is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Warner wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dean keeps working.
Dean gets back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dean is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Warner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Dean lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Warner is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Dean pushes down on Warner's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dean seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Warner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Warner flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Dean frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Dean trying to control but Warner is having none of it.
Warner is in all sorts of trouble here.

Dean can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Warner is looking to escape.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dean trying to control but Warner is having none of it.
We've been informed that Dean has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Dean takes Warner's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.

Warner is trying to get back to his feet but Dean has full control of the position and if anything, Warner has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Dean controls the action.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dean is not going to allow Warner to sit and survive in this position.
Dean slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Randall Dean dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Warner shoots in looking for a takedown but Dean manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Warner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Warner darts in looking for a takedown but Dean gets double underhooks and turns Warner into the cage.
Warner misses with a punch on the inside.
The referee is keeping an eye on Warner - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Warner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dean gets underhooks to prevent Warner's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Warner tries to circle away but Dean has him pinned against the cage.
Dean has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Warner is working for takedown but Dean is calmly controlling the position for now.

Warner drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dean gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Randall Dean seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dean misses with a wild body shot.
Dean scores with a decent looking hook.
Dean scores with a one two! Warner had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Warner is rocked!
A punch combination from Warner misses.
Pete Warner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Dean explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Dean fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Warner manages to avoid it.

Dean connects with a right hand. Warner shakes it off.
Oh Warner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Dean has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dean chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Warner sprawling to the canvas! Warner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dean finish him?!
Randall Dean seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Warner tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Dean counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
A shot to the liver by Dean. Beautiful body shot.
Dean throws a nice outside leg kick.
Warner takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Dean ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Dean lands a nice hook to Warner's body. Warner takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Warner seems to have got his legs back now.
Dean is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Warner rather than just go for the knockout.
Dean misses with a body shot.
Dean scores with a hook to the body. Warner takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Dean throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Randall Dean is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Warner doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Dean feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Warner sprawling to the canvas! Warner rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Dean finish him?!

Dean thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Warner if he has to take too many more of those.
Warner gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dean gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Warner is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Randall Dean!
Our winner, Randall Dean, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
