Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kenny King (ranked 4392 p4p, 6079 weight class) and Chad Rollins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chad Rollins is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Ackerman and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King gets tackled into the cage by Rollins. Rollins maintains the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

King can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rollins is looking to escape.

King is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Rollins has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Rollins!

King blocks a head kick by Rollins.
Rollins is trying hard to land a takedown here. King sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Chad Rollins has got the better of the ground game so far.

You can see the frustration on King's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
King is looking to regain half guard here but Rollins keeps moving and retains side control.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

King manages to break the clinch.
King changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rollins tries to avoid it but King manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rollins to the ground. Rollins escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well Rollins has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
