Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kary Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Klein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cody Klein has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Lou da Vinci and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Klein.
Grant parries the strikes from Klein easily there. Klein is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Grant to escape.

Klein decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Klein closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Klein fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grant sprawls well initially but Klein persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Klein is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Grant doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Klein.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Grant escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Klein gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Grant had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Klein is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Grant Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Klein's back instead.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Grant slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
