Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryder Gauthier!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gauthier circles away quickly and effectively.
Boo tries to keep at a distance but Gauthier has taken the fight into the clinch.

I was talking to Boo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Gauthier is trying to maintain a safe position but Boo gets an underhook and turns Gauthier into the ropes.

Gauthier jerks Boo's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Boo drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Gauthier goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Gauthier because Boo was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
