The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Knightley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bhate looks to score with a jab to the body but Knightley is just out of range.
Knightley misses with a hook.

and Bhate counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Bhate is working for a kimura but Knightley is defending it quite comfortably.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are battling for position here. Knightley manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Knightley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bhate doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bhate manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Knightley quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Bhate has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
