We've been hearing reports that Smythe has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Smythe paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sobieskiego throws a hook to the side of Smythe's head but Smythe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Smythe fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sobieskiego has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Smythe takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Oh Smythe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Smythe tests Sobieskiego's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Sobieskiego might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Sobieskiego closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Smythe! Sobieskiego dives in looking to finish! Smythe is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
