Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jim Duggan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Babcock!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duggan shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Babcock pinned against the cage. Babcock gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Duggan, as that shot connected.

Duggan moves into range and clinches up with Babcock.
Duggan misses with some punches.
A right hook to the body lands for Duggan.
Babcock misses with a body punch.
Babcock tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Duggan's elbow.

Babcock gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Babcock throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Duggan trying to hold on to Babcock's head to control him but Babcock postures up.

Duggan is refusing to be controlled, as Babcock sits in half guard.

Babcock is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Duggan sees it coming and defends easily.

Babcock thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Babcock is looking for a kimura but Duggan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Babcock to get the leverage.

Duggan wants to control but Babcock passes into side.

Babcock is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Duggan is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Babcock has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Duggan is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Babcock yanks on the arm and Duggan is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Babcock.

A relieved looking Jim Babcock thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
