PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dwalin Broadaxe (ranked 1443 p4p, 3787 weight class) and Karsten Koererlaerer (ranked 131 p4p, 291 weight class). Karsten Koererlaerer told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Broadaxe drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Koererlaerer has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Koererlaerer is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Broadaxe is controlling him well.
Koererlaerer is trying to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Koererlaerer gets tackled into the cage by Broadaxe. Broadaxe maintains the clinch.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Broadaxe has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Koererlaerer clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Koererlaerer is trying to get back to his feet but Broadaxe has full control of the position and if anything, Koererlaerer has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Broadaxe postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Koererlaerer in real trouble here! The ref calls for Koererlaerer to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
