Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 22022 p4p, 3909 weight class) and Xavier Washington (ranked 513 p4p, 405 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Xavier Washington!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akerfeldt ducks under a wild hook from Washington.

Akerfeldt creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Washington sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Washington really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Akerfeldt. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Washington parries the strikes from Akerfeldt easily there. Akerfeldt is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Washington to escape.

Bjorn Akerfeldt decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
