Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Li Fen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kellen Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fen's entrance music is Its The Final Countdown. A fine choice. Smith has chosen Turn My Swag On as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Li Fen has been cut.
Smith throws a right hand that Fen ducks under and follows up with a left that Fen also avoids with ease.
Smith misses with a looping left.
Smith tries to clinch but Fen moves out of range.
Fen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Smith was well out of range. Poor timing from Fen.
Fen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Smith's guard.
Smith is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Fen is trying to stick to Smith's back but Smith is turning into Fen. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Fen's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Smith.

Smith tries to lock up and control but Fen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Smith's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Fen is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Smith can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Smith is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Li Fen will probably get the nod.

Fen is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Smith's half guard.

Fen wants to take a breather but Smith is having none of it.
Fen uses his free foot to push down on Smith's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Smith.

Fen has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Smith has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
I really don't envy Smith right now.

Fen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Smith gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Fen to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Li Fen showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
