Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bobojo Makoba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Daniel Galarza!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Makoba swinging wildly here.

Galarza pushes Makoba up against the cage in a clinch.
Makoba is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Makoba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Galarza tries to clinch but Makoba is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Galarza fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Galarza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Makoba cracks Galarza with an open hand slap.

It looks like Daniel Galarza has been cut.
Bobojo Makoba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Galarza instigates a clinch.
Galarza is trying to pull guard but Makoba turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Makoba.
Galarza jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Makoba walks away with a smile on his face. Galarza gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Bobojo Makoba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Galarza.
Makoba lands with an uppercut that bounces Galarza off the cage and back into range.
Galarza dives in and grabs Makoba's left leg, looking for a takedown. Makoba pushes down on Galarza's head and hops out.
Galarza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Makoba defends it nicely.
Galarza looks winded!
Galarza attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Makoba scores with a jab. Galarza acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

That has opened up Daniel Galarza's cut even more.
Bobojo Makoba is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Makoba comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
