Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aries Lagana!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mackin Hooez!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ron Honeybunn and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lagana just misses with a punch to the body.
Lagana misses with a looping right.
Donk. Lagana catches Hooez right on the button with a cross.
Hooez drives through with a takedown into Lagana's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Lagana wants to get back to his feet but Hooez passes into half guard.
Well, if Hooez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Lagana is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hooez seems to be working for a kimura but Lagana defends the submission attempt.

Hooez is thwarting Lagana's attempts to control the position.

Hooez is looking to advance position but Lagana won't allow it.
Hooez passes the guard and advances to mount!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Hooez controlling the pace for now.
Hooez is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Lagana is surviving well by controlling Hooez's body position as best he can.
Hooez quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Hooez but it's paid off an Lagana is forced to tap! Nice work by Hooez.
