Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeong Hoon Chai!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Sherk!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai stuns Sherk with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Chai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sherk slips a jab from Chai.
It seemed like Sherk was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Chai lands a lovely overhand right.
Chai steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sherk.
As Sherk looks to move away, Chai throws a big counter combo but Sherk just gets out of the way.
Chai throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Sherk connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nice straight punches there by Chai. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Chai.
Sherk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Chai counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

We've been told by Chai's head coaches at Master Chai's Dojo that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

letting Chai counter with a right hand.

Chai slaps away a takedown attempt from Sherk, before circling back to the center of the mat.

No joy there for Chai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Chai cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Sherk loads up on a big right hand but Chai slips the punch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sherk walks forward, straight into a front kick from Chai.
Sherk throws a jab but it's blocked by Chai.

Chai lands a really nice looking cross but Sherk seems unphased.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sherk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Chai rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sherk moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Sherk's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Sherk uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chai.
Sherk might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

and Chai counters with a three punch combo that has Sherk backing up. Sherk nods at Chai to acknowledge the strikes.

Chai lands a big uppercut and Sherk crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Sherk looks OK. Chai waves Sherk back to his feet!
Sherk is still on wobbly legs! Can Chai finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Chai ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Sherk out cold! The fight is over!
