The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Storm closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Storm pushes Malkovich back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Storm's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Storm moves into range and clinches up with Malkovich.
The referee is keeping an eye on Storm - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Storm drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Storm is fighting to break Malkovich's control of his arms but Malkovich is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Malkovich escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Storm gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Storm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Malkovich works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Storm tries to free his leg and advance position but Malkovich is retaining full guard.

Malkovich is looking for a triangle but Storm pushes his legs off easily.
