Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Matyushenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and babalu santana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). babalu santana is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Matyushenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, babalu santana!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
santana shoots in but Matyushenko avoids the takedown attempt easily.
santana shoots in for a takedown but Matyushenko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
santana shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Matyushenko as he avoids it easily.
Tommy Matyushenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of babalu santana.
santana changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Matyushenko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Matyushenko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for santana on the ground.
santana tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Matyushenko is trying to improve his position.
santana tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no santana has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Matyushenko tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Matyushenko manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Matyushenko is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Matyushenko flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Matyushenko is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on santana's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
santana blocks the strikes from Matyushenko.

santana has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
santana can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Matyushenko is looking to escape.
Matyushenko is desperately trying to improve his position but santana has a good base and remains in mount.
santana moves to the back.
Matyushenko manages to reverse the position and now he's in santana's guard. Nice work there by Matyushenko.
santana has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Matyushenko should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, santana has tightened it up now! Matyushenko should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
